What are your recommendations if I have back issues?

Edited

Unfortunately, we cannot provide any medical consultations regarding health issues, as it would never be as helpful as the advice you’ll get during a visit to your doctor. The health of our users is a top priority for us, and your plan should depend on your case in particular (the current condition of your back, previous traumas, and your specific diagnosis). We highly recommend visiting your doctor before starting any workout program in order to receive professional and personalized advice and get up-to-date information concerning your health and any potential exercise restrictions you should be aware of.

Although we don't have a separate plan for back issues, the app offers specific low-impact workouts and training sets that might help, such as Recovery and Pilates, which are also good for muscle toning and mobility. In addition, low-intensity strength workouts offer basic exercises that engage all the muscles in the body (or you can choose specific target areas) to get you in shape without causing you any harm.

You can select your training sets in your daily plan in the Settings section of the app > Training plan (please see the screenshot below):

When you tap on a workout from the list, you will be redirected to a screen where you can adjust the training set according to your needs (including intensity and schedule):

Although we are not responsible for any activities you undertake while using the app, we will do our best to help you make the most of it. So here are some helpful tips from our fitness experts:

  • Focus on using the correct form;

  • When pursuing the activities mentioned above, please do only those exercises that you are comfortable with and which are permitted by your physician;

  • Perform all of the exercises within a comfortable range of motion and avoid any pain or discomfort;

  • Please skip any restrictive exercises and stop exercising when you feel any pain or discomfort.

Once again, all our recommendations are advisory only. We strongly recommend visiting your doctor before performing any workouts.
