The app won’t track my steps.

Edited

Our app syncs with your phone's "Motion & Fitness" feature to track your steps. Therefore, you need to have your phone with you while you’re walking for your steps to be recorded correctly.

To check whether "Motion & Fitness" is connected, please go to your phone's Settings> Privacy > Motion & Fitness > FitCoach.

You can also sync FitCoach with the Health app. In that case, our app will automatically pull the number of steps you take during the day from the Apple Health application. That means, as long as you wear your Apple Watch, you will not have to carry around your phone to keep track of your steps.

To connect to Health, just tap the "Sync with Health" button at the bottom of the screen, as shown in the screenshot below:

Next, allow access to your step activity:

To check whether FitCoach is synchronized with the Health app, please go to your phone's settings > Privacy > Health > FitCoach.

If "Motion & Fitness" is enabled and/or FitCoach is synchronized with the Health app, but the app still isn’t tracking your steps, please follow these instructions:

1. Open the FitCoach app;

2. Go to "Profile" > "Advanced":

3. Tap on "Clear Cache":

4. Confirm by tapping "Yes":
